With nearly 40 years of experience spanning software development, enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data analytics and AI strategy, this candidate is currently serving as Head of Artificial Intelligence at a regulated financial services organization. They combine genuine technical depth with strong commercial and entrepreneurial experience, having founded and successfully exited a technology services business and served as CTO across multiple organizations.

They are now seeking a permanent AI leadership, AI governance or AI enablement role where they can help an organization maximize the value of AI adoption whilst maintaining strong operational and regulatory controls.



Accomplisments

Designed and implemented AI governance frameworks, risk controls, monitoring standards and responsible AI guardrails aligned to regulatory and compliance requirements

Delivered six figure annual productivity savings and automated multiple high volume business processes through practical AI adoption programmes

Extensive hands on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, AI agents, RAG architectures, Document Intelligence and AI powered workflow automation

Skilled at identifying practical AI opportunities through business discovery workshops and translating operational challenges into scalable AI solutions

Strong understanding of AI governance, compliance, data protection, information security, data loss prevention and operational risk management

Former CTO with experience leading multi disciplinary technology teams, managing large scale transformation budgets and vendor relationships

Built and scaled enterprise data platforms and cloud environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud

Entrepreneurial background, including founding, growing and successfully exiting a technology services business
